Arabian Jasmine (Jasminum sambac)

Our Arabian jasmine flowers are grown organically in Mauritius, a small island just off the coast of Madagascar.

Used massively in perfumery and tea making, this flower is extremely fragrant, delicate, exotic and sweet. Open only at night, we harvest the tiny closed buds early in the morning when they have the highest concentration of essential oil.
Assamese Agarwood (Aquilaria agollocha)

Our Assamese agarwood trees are grown organically in a remote corner of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Only mature resinated trees are harvested.

The most expensive wood in the world, agarwood, also known as oud and aloeswood, is the name for the dark and aromatic resin-suffused wood formed in species of Aquilaria, Gyrinops and Aetoxylon trees. This wood is prized the world over for its unique and primal fragrance.
Bakula Flowers (Mimusops elengi)

Our bakula blossoms are grown organically in West Bengal, India.

Said to only blossom when sprinkled with wine by a beautiful woman, the bakula is one of India's cherished symbolic flowers. Favoured above countless others in temple and shrine worship, the offering of a handful of these honey-sweet flowers signifies unwavering devotion. A sweet and tropical floral fragrance.
Bamboo (Various Species)

Our bamboo is grown in various locations around China.

Bamboo is our most important ingredient. Not only does it make up the sticks that we roll our incense onto, but it's also where we get our charcoal. Bamboo charcoal is one of the most eco friendly charcoals.
Bergamot Orange (Citrus bergamia)

Our bergamot oranges are grown in Calabria, Italy, on a narrow coastal strip of land in the southern part of the region.

We cold-press our bergamot oranges. This oil is fresh, bright, zesty, sparkling and truly citrus, with a delicate persistence that has made it a popular ingredient in perfumery for centuries.
Black Frankincense Resin (Boswellia sacra)

Our organic frankincense resin is traditionally and carefully harvested from the Dhofar region of Oman. This is a region where the frankincense grade was considered so high, it was specially set aside for royalty. Our black frankincense is grown very close to the coast.

More powerful and pure burning than frankincense incense, our black frankincense resin is sweet and ethereal with rich hints of sea air, pepper and pine. Far larger than our regular frankincense.
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea)

Our lotuses are, funnily enough, grown organically in Mississippi, USA.

Our lotus essential oil is extracted through steam distillation. Rich with floral notes of a watery, aqueous quality, lotus essential oil is light and ethereal with pleasing sweet tones. The national flower of India, the lotus has long been associated with their history, culture, religion, arts and crafts.
Cambodian Agarwood (Aquilaria crassna)

Our Cambodian agarwood trees are grown organically on a very small and remote plantation in Western Cambodia. Only mature resinated trees are harvested.

The most expensive wood in the world, agarwood, also known as oud and aloeswood, is the name for the dark and aromatic resin-suffused wood formed in species of Aquilaria, Gyrinops and Aetoxylon trees. Prized the world over for its unique and primal fragrance, Cambodian agarwood is one of the rarest and most sought after species.
Damascus Rose (Rosa damascena)

Our roses are grown in Bulgaria, on a pristine and remote plantation in the western part of the region.

For the vast majority of rose oil, only 90% of the essential oil is derived from the petals themselves, with the remaining 10% being extracted from the structural part of the flower, leaves and stem. By carefully removing these structural parts, and working carefully to capture the most volatile and distinctive notes in the distillation process, the essential oil that we distill closely represents the true fragrance of this distinctive flower.

It takes just over four kilograms of these silky petals to produce each milliliter of essential oil. These petals are harvested just before sunrise, when the flowers are believed to have their highest concentration of oil. Pure rose essential oil is syrupy sweet, overwhelmingly floral, elegant and distinctive.
French Lavender (Lavandula stoechas)

Our lavender is carefully hand-picked and expertly steam distilled on a Soil Association certified organic family run farm in Surrey, England.

French lavender is famous for its sweet herbaceous overtones and sharper camphor-like notes. Massively popular in balms, salves, perfumes and cosmetics the world over.
Frankincense Resin (Boswellia sacra)

Our organic frankincense resin is traditionally and carefully harvested from the Dhofar region of Oman. This is a region where the frankincense grade was considered so high, it was specially set aside for royalty.

More powerful and pure burning than incense, our frankincense resin is sweet and ethereal with gentle citrus and pine overtones. Long lasting, potent, first grade frankincense.
Golden Magnolia Champaca (Magnolia champaca)

Our magnolia champa blossoms are grown in North West India.

Famous throughout the world for its beautiful flowers, but especially in India for its scent, golden champaca flowers have a very sweet and tropical bouquet, with fresh floral/green top notes.
Kadamba (Neolamarckia cadamba)

Our kadamba flowers are grown organically in Western Nepal.

Favoured for its uniquely fresh and floral tropical scent, kadamba is a very popular perfume ingredient all across Asia.
Lebanese Cedarwood (Cedrus libani)

Our cedarwood is grown just outside the small Mediterranean village of Tebnine in Southern Lebanon.

One of the oldest ingredients used in perfumery, cedar has a distinctive woody, spicy-resinous scent that has been used as the primary base note of many famous perfumes. This species of coniferous tree is large and slow growing, native to the mountains of the Himalayas and Mediterranean regions.
Madagascan Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia)

Our vanilla is hand-pollinated, hand-picked and organically grown in Madagascar.

A species of orchid, vanilla is sweet, fragrant and comforting with underlying darker notes that recall treacle and booze.
Myrrh Resin (Commiphora gileadensis)

Our myrrh is traditionally and carefully harvested from organic mature trees just north of the ancient town of Tarim, Yemen.

Myrrh is nutty, woody, leathery, dusty, dark and slightly rubbery. Myrrh, alongside frankincense, has been mentioned in ancient texts and scriptures for thousands of years and has long been regarded as one of the most sacred scents in perfume.
Mysore Sandalwood (Santalum album)

Our sandalwood is grown organically in Karnataka, South West India.

One of the oldest ingredients in incense and perfumery, this precious oil is often referred to as "liquid gold". Sandalwood has a very distinctive and powerful fragrance, full of depth, warmth and creamy richness. Traditionally used to help evoke a sense of calm and clarity, sandalwood is a very soothing fragrance often used for meditation.
Parijata (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis)

Our parijata blossoms are grown organically in Sri Lanka, a small island just off the coast of India.

These flowers fall to the ground in the early hours of the morning after blossoming and are harvested by the local people in straw and banana leaf baskets. This is a vital source of income for many of the poorer villages, who can spend hours a day sweeping up the delicate petals in the height of the season.
Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin)

Our patchouli is grown in various locations around China.

Synonymous with the hippy movement of the 60's and 70's, patchouli's potent, earthy and herbaceous aroma has helped to make it one of the most popular perfumery and incense ingredients in history.
Persian Yellow Rose (Rosa foetida)

Our yellow roses are grown in Persia on a pristine and remote plantation.

In the vast majority of rose oil, only 90% of the essential oil is derived from the petals themselves, with the remaining 10% being extracted from the structural part of the flower, leaves and stem.

Royal Jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum)

Our royal jasmine is grown on the island of Java, just off the coast of Indonesia.

Used massively in perfumery and tea making, this flower is extremely fragrant, delicate, exotic and sweet.
Saffron (Crocus sativus)

Our saffron crocuses are hand-picked from a small organically grown plantation in Torbat-e Heydarieh, Iran.

Referred to as "red gold" and "the king of spices", saffron is the most expensive spice in the world. Saffron is warming, refined and sweet, with gentle earthy base notes permeating from underneath its rich spice.
White Frangipani (Plumeria alba)

Our frangipani flowers are handpicked and grown organically on a small island in the Caribbean.

A fast growing tropical shrub, this small and beautiful flower is sweet, fruity and heady. Our frangipani blossoms are carefully steam distilled in small batches, so as to not damage the delicate perfume. Frequently used in high end perfumery, this alluring scent is known to encourage a sensual and provocative response.
White Magnolia (Michelia champaca)

Our magnolia flowers are grown organically in the foothills of the Himalayas.

A truly breathtaking plant, magnolias are cultivated extensively for both their essential oil and their gorgeous flowers, which are massively popular in ornamental gardens the world over.
Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata)

Our ylang ylang blossoms are hand-picked from an organically grown plantation in the Comoros Islands, just north west of Madagascar.

Powerfully floral and intensely sweet, ylang ylang fades into a softer, slightly spicy and sweet, creamy floral note. Similar to jasmine in its ability to accentuate the fragrances of other flowers, ylang ylang blossoms are so delicate that they are distilled in smaller stills to avoid the flowers crushing each other and impacting the fragrance.
